此計畫目的為建立及增加台灣島農業地區蝴蝶、蜻蜓及爬行類之系統化調查資料。調查配合臺灣繁殖鳥類大調查(BBS Taiwan)曾進行樣區，於淺山、農業環境設置1東西向，南北寬15km之長穿越帶，每一穿越帶選擇3-5個樣區，於各樣區曾進行鳥類調查樣點中，選擇 6 個，以其為穿越線中心設置長200m之穿越線，樣線盡可能選取於周圍相似的棲地類型。2018年於苗栗、彰化及雲林，2019年苗栗、嘉義、台南，2020年於桃園及新竹，2021於宜蘭、高雄及屏東，2022年於花蓮及台東進行。詳細調查方法及表格請見連結：https://reurl.cc/oZEDNj。調查設計以蝴蝶為主要，蜻蜓及爬行類為附帶調查。

The purpose of this project was to conduct systematic surveys for butterflies, dragonflies, and reptiles in agricultural areas on the island of Taiwan. The survey corresponded to the Taiwan Breeding Bird Survey (BBS Taiwan) sampling areas, in which a 15km wide, east-west oriented, north-south crossing belt was set up in the hilly and agricultural environment. 3-5 sampling grids were selected in each crossing belt, and 6 bird survey sample points were selected in each sampling grid. A 200m transect line was set up with each sample point as the center, and the sample line is as similar as possible to the surrounding habitat types. The surveys were conducted in 2018 in Miaoli, Changhua, and Yunlin, in 2019 in Miaoli, Chiayi, and Tainan, in 2020 in Taoyuan and Hsinchu, and in 2021 in Yilan, Kaohsiung and Pingtung, in 2022 in Hualien and Taitung.
